Please sign . . . our caring Police force have been instructed to take the blankets away from rough sleepers. Now Im no lover of the Police, and I know some of them will not go that far to take the only warmth that someone on the street has. I see the shame of our society everyday where I live on the edge of the rich banking/techcity districts. people step over the bodies on their way to work and the cash points. The doorways are full. The unemployment numbers are down simply because they crossed them off the list. Marked them not eligible. I once wrote a similar story for a fanzine I published as a work of fiction. It was called SMITH. Where they lowered the benefit figures by striking anyone with the name SMITH off the list . . . So it seems very ironic that a man by the name of SMITH is trying to use as nasty a methods to achieve the same aim.
