Please take note of these important updates re South Island Junior Secondary Schools Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Championships to be held in Invercargill. All event information can be found at this link volleyballnz.org.nz/SI-secondary-schools Earlybird entries close 24 October - we must receive entry form, bond form, entry and bond fees by this date to qualify for part 1 of earlybird entry. We will advise once the link for on-line team lists is live and the due date for that later and entry of the team list by that date will be part 2 of the earlybird requirements. Referee training - the link is on the webpage above. Please ensure you complete this module with either your team or the players you will nominate as referees. There is also a link to the VNZ rule variations - this is where VNZ event rules differ from the International rules and is useful to review prior to the event. Social is on Thursday evening after the finals. Please find attached a flyer for the social (this is also on the website) and please note that the Social Tickets form needs to be completed and returned to VNZ, along with payment by 10 November. This is a NEW procedure so please ensure team managers are advised. Beach entries also close 10 November. Again this is a NEW procedure as entries are made directly on the Volleyball Southland website - see the link on the web page. We are looking forward to being involved with the World’s southern-most beach volleyball event so get your entries in to be part of that history. Beach Training Camp New Zealand’s leading women’s pair Julia Tilley & Shaunna Polley will be running an Age Group Development Camp 30 November in the velodrome.
