Please take the time to comment to the FCC on Net Neutrality - TopicsExpress

Please take the time to comment to the FCC on Net Neutrality before the end of day on Monday. Cable and DSL companies are planning to engage in “bit discrimination” by providing faster connections to websites and services that pay a premium, or by preferring their own business partners when delivering content. As the Internet moves forward, is it really wise to leave net neutrality behind? What you can do is to look at the ALA link below for good talking points, then: 1) Speak up: Monday is the last day the public can weigh in on the process by submitting comments to the FCC: fcc.gov/comments [Look for Proceeding #14-28 “Protecting and Promoting the Open Internet”] 2) Encourage others to speak up. Please share the opportunity to submit comments to the FCC within your organization and through your social media channels. 3) Help Educate Your Community.
