Please understand I am just using these words to release some emotions. I have amazing support through so many family members and friends. I see glimpses of myself and my family on occasion. We are all still here, just kind of lost inside. LOST INSIDE Reality creeps in, My mood starts to change. In the blink of an eye, My worlds rearranged. Behind my smile Lies the truth in my pain. Tears fall from my eyes, Like clouds lose the rain. The world keeps on spinning, Lives moving so fast. I struggle to keep up. My hearts stuck in the past. Darkness surrounds me. My mood is so bleak. My light lost inside So faint and so weak. My brain says go forward. My heart says go back. The me that I knew, Has been thrown off the track. You ask how Im doing. I will say that Im fine. Can you see through my smoke screen? I really am lying. I hear, YOURE SO STRONG. Well Im so full of shit! I am falling apart. God, Im ready to quit. I pick myself up. Hold my head up high. Right foot left foot, See I really do try. Like learning to talk, This is all new you see. For the path that I knew, He was walking with me.
