Please watch Wild Burma: Natures Lost Kingdom which will be on Friday 29 November at 21:00 GMT on BBC Two. If you miss is, you can watch the documentary later on BBC iPlayer. At last, we are much relieved to learn that there are still wild animals in Myanmar dwindling forests. However, due to thriving illegal wildlife markets along the border, the governments of Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China and India should cooperate and impose tougher laws to fight against poaching and wildlife trade. Most importantly, China should educate its ignorant mass not to use animal body parts in their traditional medicine. They could also introduce legislations with maximum punishments as a deterrent to stop stop cross-border local wildlife trade. The Myanmar government should also ban cutting forests in all parts of Myanmar and allow more international wildlife teams to document and highlight the plights of the last frontiers of Asian fast-disappearing wild animals. We would also like to see Sir David Attenborough visiting our last remaining forests in Myanmar.
