Please watch this video! Mitochondrial disease affects families in ways you cant begin to imagine! There is not one day that goes by, even a good day, that is not afeected by Mito in some way. Mitochondria that are damaged or die can NOT be replaced. Every cell is powered by mitochondria. I know Im big on awareness. Truth be told though , AWARENESS DOES SAVE LIVES!! Please. I plead with every person on my friends list. Watch this video. Yes, its about my son. Mito has put him through more in his ten years than most go through in 90. And I realize its hard for some to see stuff like this but honestly how do you think it must be for those that live it? And guess what? I spared yall from the worst scenes in our life!!!! I realize many of you wonder whats the point. You, your child, or your loved ones dont have Mito. This video could mean a lot to you tomorrow. Or next year. I pray it never means what it does for us. No child should ever have to be as brave as my son and his Mito friends. But I cant promise you or your loved ones are not carrying this beast around and it waiting for the right time to rear its ugly head. Because you know what? I remember the days long ago when I was oblivious to its name. Even a as a medical professional I never knew until it came knocking. Please watch this video. Please share this video.
