Please welcome into our care this chocolate lab boy who is chipped as Baci. This furry fellah is having a little of a tough run. Firstly he is 10 years old and has been surrendered to us, something no animal at his age should have to go through. Next, he is 50kgs. Yes we all know labs do love their food, but 50kgs is morbidly obese for this poor boy. And lastly but certainly not least, he is covered in tumours! We are in the process of running tests to see if they are cancerous or not, fingers crossed. At the moment they, along with his weight make it extremely uncomfortable for him to even walk, so we have started his road to a healthier life immediately. He is now on good quality low fat food and partaking in gentle exercises. It is going to be a long road though, but hopefully once he is at a more healthy weight, we can look at operating if needed to help him enjoy a longer and more comfortable life. Wish him and his foster carer good luck and keep an eye out for his updates. :) Holly
