Please welcome to campus 14 high school students for Geology Rocks: Youth Field Camp in the Black Hills. These students are from: Grand Rapids, MI; Laramie, WY; Lennox, SD; Yankton, SD; Elgin, NE; Aspen, CO; Perry, KS; Glenrock, WY; Otley, IA; and 5 students from Texas: Lewisville, Dallas, Corpus Christi, Houston, and Kingwood! Geology Rocks was developed and coordinated by Dr. Kurt Katzenstein. Kathleen Grigg will be assisting him throughout the week. Students will delve into the geology throughout the Black Hills region, and spend some of their week camping at Sheridan Lake. If you see them on campus, say hi!
