Please write to your Congressmen and Senators and Representatives in all countries that need to re-evaluate their timeliness of responding with relief supplies to insist that right now in the Philippines and from this day forward everywhere, in any disaster relief all over the world, that these initial disaster relief supplies worldwide MUST be VIA PARACHUTE AIR-DROPS in the first 3 to 7 full days. I would also plan to air-drop hundreds of machetes and simple chain-saws with fuel to mobilize an army of civilian volunteers with instructions and directives to use them attached, telling them in their own language or multi-lingual or pictorial ways to quickly clear the main roads and ways to truck routes, airports, and shipping docks too! That would permit them to work WITH their rescuers too, rather than sitting around helplessly waiting for relief! Many nations have the ability to drop supplies as heavy as a tank without ever landing too, by doing low-altitude drops from rear cargo doors of planes into any open field, clearing, or even damaged tarmacs and runways where landing is virtually impossible because of debris, without ever landing anywhere at all! I am VERY SERIOUS!!! The world cannot ever again let people get desperate and panicked as in super-typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda, which has taught us by the great delays caused by a great mis-coordination, mis-handling, and ineptitude of having chosen slower methods where supplies had actually backed up in Manila for almost A WHOLE WEEK, without moving to where they were desperately needed soon enough! WRITE TO ALL OF YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS AND CALL FOR AN INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLY TO DISCUSS MORE RAPID RESPONSE AND COORDINATION METHODS, TOO! DONT BE AFRAID TO TELL THEM YOUR OWN IDEAS AND OBSERVATIONS WHERE THIS OPERATION WENT WRONG OR HOW IT COULD HAVE GONE BETTER TO TELL THEM TOO IN YOUR LETTERS!!! JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And DO IT NOW!!!
