Victor Tremblay-Desrosiers Mick Martel Samuel Granholm Burdett Road is an indie rock band, based in Montreal. The name comes from a street in Mile End, London, where Thomas Hayward and Ronan Le Mercier settled the roots of their band, The Blueberries, and lived la Bohème while performing in the UK. After 500 concerts in the UK and in France and a successful album called Over and Over, unforeseen circumstances forced The Blueberries to interrupt their journey. However, following a very dark period and the possibility of losing a spiritual brother, Thomas Hayward took a plane and ended up in Mile End, Montreal in order to continue their vision. Things started to look up when he crossed paths with Samuel Grandholm from Sweden who plays bass, Mick Martel on guitar and Victor Tremblay on drums, both from Montreal and Burdett Road was born. The new formation is preparing an album and has started performing shows in Canada. It will be raw, energetic and more than ever a pure intention of giving ones all on stage in order to share the beauty of being with the audience.
