Poetry of Courage We need Courage, more than ever before, to face the calamities associated with this terminal Socio-economic etc. system. This is indicated in the experiences of people the world over.e.g. How does it feel to fall to Ebola or to see loved ones succumb to Ebola and one cannot even touch, not help? This sure demands courage. How does it feel to be slaughtered, or watch a love one being slaughtered on video and all you can do is just watch? This demands courage too. How does it feel to lose sleep, not be able to walk the street because of the sound and fear of gun-shots, expectation of bombardment and loud explosion? It takes courage. How does it feel to be displaced because of flood, war, earthquake, volcanic eruptions etc.? It calls for courage. But most important of all how does it feel to say the truth in face of persecution and death. This takes exceptional courage. Courage not built on the materials weve acquired, not built on the connections we made, friends we have or power we had or posts weve attained, not built on the merriment weve enjoyed, and definitely not built on knowledge alone, but on the peace that only God can supply. Peace be on those who will never abandon the proclamation of the truth in an apathetic calamitous world. Their Peace is an indication of exceptional increasing courage. Practice Truth Proclamation and real Courage comes naturally, inwardly. Remember no one is immune to the unwanted[un-wished] scenario listed above.
