Poets arent afraid to swallow the beauty they see around them - TopicsExpress

Poets arent afraid to swallow the beauty they see around them without shame or inhibition and at the same time, they arent afraid to plunge into the darkness of their own hearts. We leaders in the church often try to find a safe middle ground, somewhere between light and darkness. As a result we sometimes end up preaching and speaking in the gray, which represents predictability, safety, and contain ability. This translates to the world as apathy, naivety, and a separateness that isolates the church rather than connecting us to the world at a deeply human level. Protege by: Steve Saccone #letsbereal
