Point of pontification on my mind as i tottered onto Tom Mboya street to get my favorite coconut cookies from my favorite confectionary store (the nice man there always gives me extras): Fearlesness is not the absence of fear, it is not acting in spite of fear, it is not ignoring the presence of fear. It is the attitude of to hell with it, im gonna do it anyway, regardless of outcome. At its core, true fearlesness is not interested in outcome, it is more concerned with being in flow and true to the present moment. Whether one lives or dies, loses of fails, overcomes or succumbs, those are questions that are the preserve of other adjectives. As for fearlessness, it knows its place, its boundaries, and it would not cross them even if it were paid.
