Points day on Sunday 22nd September 2013 CANCELLED. Due to the wet conditions of the track, dozer not working and track cannot be prepped without it. We have two other machines on wheels, which cannot access parts of the track. Paul Niven had a track machine lined up for the weekend thanks to Wes trac, but problems with that one, but thanks Paul for your great efforts. As Clerk of Course for Sunday, I cannot hold the event with the track conditions as they stand due to safety issues. We have talked with the track manager and the Steward for Sunday and all concluded that the track without more prep will be unsafe for a race event. The track will still be closed on Saturday 21st Sept as we will be doing a busy bee to clean up canteen area, pits, car park, flag points and anywhere that needs tidying up. Your help as club members would be greatly appreciated. Track will be open for practice on Sunday to members but please be prepared to help out when you have finished riding and remember that the track is as it was after last points day. We will look at the calendar and re shedule the 7th points day. Sorry for the inconvenience. Blame the Clerk of Course for caring about your safety. Debbie x
