Polar Vortex 4...err...5...Whatever! Seems like it never fails...new report out in USA TODAY says El Ninos will become more frequent due to Global Warming. Almost on cue, another Arctic outbreak (Polar Vortex) is setting to plunge into the lower 48 creating misery due to snow, ice & VERY COLD temperatures. We are likely to see our lows dipping back into the low to mid 20s on the N-Shore and upper 20s-lower 30s S-shore by Wednesday morning. But theres more! More cold that is as another surge arrives on Friday with the slight chance we could see some sleet (ice pellets) thrown in to boot. My brown yard cant be hurt any further & I have place all my tender plants inside my back shed, but this is really getting old, and we still have to endure February. Stay tuned!
