Police Arrest 20-Year-Old Man in Connection with Bronx Bus Driver Assault via NY1 January 28, 2014 Police arrested a man in connection with the assault of a bus driver in the Bronx. Dennis Buie, 20, of the Bronx is being charged with second degree assault and harassment of a transit employee. Police say Buie boarded the Bx36 bus on January 13 near Bryant Avenue and East 174th Street and got into an argument with the driver. Authorities say Buie got upset after the driver closed the doors on a woman and a child. Buie allegedly then punched the driver and ran away.
