Police: Canton woman traveled here to buy heroin; gun also found in car November 1, 2014 By PHILIP A. HOLMES, Williamsport Sun-Gazette It did not take long at all for Kristin Lee Terry and Brittney Renee Roan to start acting in a suspicious manner moments after Old Lycoming Township Patrolman Robert Cochrans cruiser pulled into a parking lot on Lycoming Creek Road where the two were sitting in a Chevrolet Impala. When the officer attempted to make eye contact with one of the women, she immediately turned her face, police said. She was doing something with her hands. It was about 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 1 when Cochran stopped at the parking lot in the 1900 block of Lycoming Creek Road. When he approached the two and began to question them, the 26-year-old Terry said: There was nothing illegal going on. When the officer learned the two women were from the Canton area, he became more suspicious because there had been a rash of incidents in the last two years in which residents from that region traveled to Williamsport to get heroin.
