Police Ignore Another Attack by Mob of Thugs Advertisement DoctorWho Photo: DoctorWho Police are ignoring the savage beating of a couple that was caught on tape in the early morning hours of Aug. 24 in the upscale French Quarter of New Orleans. Three African-American men stalked, verbally abused and physically attacked the couple, punching the woman in the mouth and stomping the man’s head into the concrete. The man suffered a concussion and required surgery for a severely broken jaw. Advertisement The surveillance footage shows the entire ordeal, including the couple’s friend running to a nearby police officer for assistance. The officer never even bothered to get out of his vehicle. The officer, whose shift was about to end at 7 a.m., told the couple that their claims were “unfounded” and that their attackers had “zero” chance of being caught anyway. But the victims’ family isn’t letting the officer off easy. They claim the officer and the police department isn’t doing enough to keep crime off of New Orleans’ streets. Police have since released the surveillance video, hoping someone with information on the suspects will come forward. As of today, no arrests have been made. Share your thoughts.
