Police Officer Assaulted – Moulden Detectives from Strike Force Trident have charged a 15-year-old male after he allegedly assaulted a Police Officer. Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said Police allege the youth breached his bail conditions and attempts were made to locate and arrest the offender. “Police located him at a residence in Moulden yesterday. The alleged offender resisted arrest before he was placed into the back of a Police vehicle. “The offender allegedly struck a Police Officer to the side of his head, whilst in the back of the vehicle.” He was charged with Breach of bail Resist Police in execution of duty Assault a member of the Police force He will appear in Darwin Youth Justice Court on Tuesday, 13 May.
