Police Scotland - APPEAL FOR WITNESSES Suspicious Fire – Dumfries Police are investigating a fire which damaged a blue coloured Peugeot 206 car which was parked outside a house in St Theresa’s Crescent in Dumfries at around 0400 hours on Saturday 5 July 2014. The car was badly damaged and two wheelie bins were destroyed in the fire, which police are treating as suspicious. Theft – Sanquhar A two section set of aluminium ladders have been stolen from a house in castle Avenue in Sanquhar sometime between 1400 hours on Wednesday 9 and 0900 hours on Thursday 10 July 2014. Fire – Kirkton Police are investigating a suspicious fire which destroyed a white coloured static caravan which was sited in the grounds of Carnsalloch House, Kirkton, Dumfries. The fire appears to have taken place sometime over the past three weeks, and has completely destroyed the caravan. No-one was living in the caravan at the time.
