Police Service Commission Promotes Six Assistant IGPs And Two Commissioners Of Police To Rank Of Deputy IGP The Police Service Commission has approved the promotion of six Assistant Inspectors-General (AIG) of Police and two Commissioners of Police to the rank of Deputy Inspectors-General of Police. In the statement, the Commission also re-affirmed its earlier decision that promotions from the ranks of ACPs to AIGs would only be done after its interviews with the affected officers.
