Police are investigating after a man’s body was found at Mount Hope yesterday, who is believed to have been missing from Hillston since August this year. Just after 4pm (Sunday 12 October 2014), a man’s body was located by the owner of a property at Mount Hope. Officers attached to Griffith LAC - NSW Police Force were called and commenced investigating the incident. While a Post Mortem examination will identify the man, he is believed to be a 62-year-old man who went missing at a property near Hillston on 13 August 2014. Initial investigations have led police to believe the man’s death is not suspicious.
