Police are searching for a man who went missing while swimming in the Murrumbidgee River, Wagga Wagga on Friday. About 8pm (Friday 11 April 2014), 23-year-old Brent Little and a woman visited Wiradjuri Reserve on Narrung Street, when Mr Little went for a swim in the river fully-clothed. Police have been told a short time later the woman heard him struggling in the water and attempted to assist him; however she was unable to and Brent has not been seen since. Officers attached to Wagga Wagga Local Area Command attended and began searching for him. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 190cm tall, of medium build and with light brown hair. Police, together with the SES, Ambulance Rescue and Police Divers will continue to search for the Brent today (Sunday 13 April 2014). Anyone who sights Brent or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
