When the police have decided to arrest you, freeze and raise your hands. It does not matter if you disagree with being arrested. Raise your hands and do exactly what you are told. Keep your mouth shut. If necessary, fake being meek. Later, an attorney will help sort through your case. If you follow this simple approach, you are not likely to be beaten up by the police and you are even less likely to be shot. However, if you resist arrest and speak provocatively, then bad things might happen.
