Police can fire a compressed-air launched GPS tracker at cars trying to get away in high speed police chases. Banning pursuits is the best for public safety, but it allows people to get away. The StarChase Pursuit Management System is comprised of a ruggedized compressed air launcher that deploys a GPS tracking projectile. The interior control panel is used to target and deploy the tag which adheres to the back of the vehicle, allowing the lead officer to fall back, and coordinate with dispatch. Dispatch can track the suspect, and determine the best apprehension strategy.
