Police have arrested another two people following a shooting at Strathfield last year. Just after midnight on Saturday 8 February 2013, police were called to Chalmers Road following reports a man had been shot. The 21-year-old man drove himself to Richmond Road, Lidcombe where he was located by police and ambulance paramedics were called. He was taken to Westmead Hospital where he received treatment for a gunshot wound to his back. Detectives from Flemington Local Area Command commenced an investigation. Today (Tuesday 17 June 2014), police attended houses at Constitution Hill and Auburn, and arrested a 23-year-old man and 20-year-old man. They were both taken to Merrylands Police Station where they are currently assisting police with their inquiries. It is anticipated that they will both be charged. Four people have now been arrested following the shooting, after a 17-year-old male and 19-year-old female were charged last year.
