Police have charged a man after a search in Newburne. In the late evening on July 13th , the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Veinotte street. Police seized a quantity of marihuana and several marihuana plants. A 55-year-old man was arrested and later released on court documents to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court in early September. The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit is comprised of members of the Bridgewater Police Service and the Lunenburg District RCMP.
