Police in Doncaster are appealing for information following reports of a possible suspicious incident in the Intake area. At around 10.25pm on Friday 7 November, it is reported that an unknown man was walking in Shaftesbury Avenue, Intake, when he was approached by a silver hatchback car. Men inside the silver car reportedly got out, grabbed the man from the pavement and put him in the car. Despite extensive enquiries, officers have been unable to identify the pedestrian or the men in the car. No one has been reported missing and there is currently no evidence to suggest a crime took place, but police are exploring the possibility. Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 1141 of 7 November 2014. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
