Police misuse for NC’s Wazawan party, violation of MCC PDP complains to Election Commission of India Srinagar, 17 March: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Monday lodged a complaint with the Election Commission of India (ECI) against the brazen misuse of official machinery and resources by the ruling National Conference. A letter to that effect was sent to the ECI. In a statement the party Chief Spokesperson, NaeemAkhtar said, it had been brought to the notice of ECI, as to how police vehicles and personal were used to ferry Wazwan for the participants of NC’s provisional meet at its headquarters. The letter has also pointed out that apart from chief minister, Omar Abdullah, most ministers, Member parliaments and legislators had participated in the lunch served through police.
