Police officers investigating two separate robberies in Derby are appealing for witnesses to come forward. A 16-year-old boy was forced to hand over his phone by a robber who then ran off towards Normanton Park. The offender was white, in his late teens or early-20s, about 5ft 11ins and of slim build. He was wearing a blue hooded top and light grey tracksuit bottoms. That robbery happened at about 5.20pm on Thursday, March 6. A separate robbery took place in Osmaston Way at about 12.05am on Sunday, March 9. A 20-year-old woman was walking along the road close to the junction with Rauche Court when a man who pushed her to the floor and took her mobile phone. He then ran off through Rauche Court. The robber was white, spoke with a Derby accent, was aged between 30 and 40, and was described as short and thin. He wore a dark hooded top with the hood up and was carrying a red drawstring bag.
