Police pick dead bodies in Lusaka A body of a woman aged between 18 and 20, light in complexion and of medium height, was found dead in Meanwood area in Lusaka’s Chainda Compound on July 19, 2013, around 09:00 hours. The deceased was dressed in black leggings, skirt with a white small belt and black blouse. This is contained in a press release made available to ZANIS by Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Charity Munganga Chanda, in Lusaka today. Chanda said investigations indicate that the deceased was raped before being murdered as her leggings and skirt were pulled down and had no pants on. She added that the deceases also had multiple cuts on the head and had a house key in her bra, which had made police to suspect that she was living alone. In another development, another identified male body, aged between 30 and 40 years, was also picked on July 10, 2013 from Chainda Community School in Ibex Hill. The deceased was wearing a blue jacket without a pair of trousers or shoes. Chanda has noted that just like the female body, which was stripped naked, the male one also just had a pair of pants on.
