Police searching bushland in the Port Stephens area have located a body, believed to be that of a man missing from Allworth. Officers had been searching for a 43-year-old man, who was last seen about 11.30am on Monday (23 June) at a home in Allworth. The body was found about 11am today (Thursday 26 June 2014), in bushland on Bucketts Way, approximately 5km from where the 43-year-old had gone missing. The man’s death does not appear to be suspicious. Police will investigate the death and prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
