Pondering lifes vicissitudes, I find it interesting that so many folks (women more-so than men) protest that Churches should get out of the bedroom and out of their lives...and then turn around and invite the government to crawl in under the covers with them. The One informs the moral life of its members while the other invites them to live according to passing fancies. One reminds us that actions have consequences with responsibility while the other suggests throwing caution to the wind today and to hell with what comes tomorrow. One invites its members to live by an informed conscience while the other suggests that everything is relative. One tries to help us discover the will of God the Creator of us all while the other tries to convince us that IT is god. Methinks the government makes for strange bed-fellows.
