Pondering the imponderable. We have all heard about dooms day scenarios, like in the recent book One Second After where an EMT strike by a rogue nation launching a nuclear tipped SCUD missile from a container ship in the Gulf of Mexico detonates about 150 miles over Kansas and destroys every solid state device in America, right? This renders all of our communications, computers, telephones, cell phones, electrical grids, power plants, water pumping stations, sewerage treatment plants, automobiles,etc. completely inoperable and drives America back to the horse and buggy era. Well, our government has taken great steps to insure that all of our politicians and top bureaucrats will indeed survive with at least 11 known underground nuclear hardened facilities stocked with adequate provisions. Heres a clue, who and what are most of our government leaders? Former lawyers and attorneys! So you have to ask yourself, would you want to live in a post apocalyptic nation comprised of mainly attorneys?
