Portions of Highway 332 will be closed beginning at about 11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 for the transportation of heavy equipment from Casko Road (bottom of Surfside Bridge) to the Oyster Creek Site. Detours are available but expect delays if you are traveling in this area. The equipment will be used in the construction of the new Gulfstream plants at the Oyster Creek site. Altogether, these projects will create approximately 5,000 construction jobs, 400-500 permanent jobs and will bring significant economic benefits to local communities on the U.S. Gulf Coast. Information about planned times for these moves will be available on LED signs along Hwy 332 and posted on the Texas Operations Facebook page.
