Position: Counsellor Location: Right to Care Offices: Seshego- Mpumalanga Reporting to: Clinic Manager Qualifications & Experience: • Matric Certificate • Basic Counselling qualification • Basic HIV/AIDS training certificate • One year experience in counselling gained through formal employment/ volunteering Key Performance Areas among others include: • Perform pre and post operation Medical Male Circumcision counselling. • Perform pre and post HIV Test counselling. • Participate in demand creation activities i.e. mobilise patients for HIV testing and Medical Male Circumcision Screen patients for TB, STIs etc. • Assist Clients in the creation of appropriate risk reduction strategies. • Assist Clients in the selection of appropriate community support through referrals. • Refer patients to health facilities for further health services and follow ups. • Ensures Proper recording and confidential keeping of all clients results and intake information. • Assist clients in informed consent process, take consent from clients. • Compile statistics.
