Positive Challenge: Day 3 1. So blessed by a stranger at the grocery store last night! 2 youngest and I went to the store and on the way it began to POUR...one of those, you pull off the road because you cant see the front of your car downpours. When we got to the store it was still raining very hard so we sat in the van for a few minutes and watched people coming out of the store and standing by the door waiting for the rain to slack up some. A gentleman had a big umbrella {not an employee of the store, not sure where he came from actually...didnt see him walk up or anything...he was just there...angel in disguise maybe? ;)} and one by one he walked the ladies and an elderly gentleman to their cars and covered them with the umbrella as they loaded their groceries and got in their cars! 2. Blessed and finding joy in the positive day challenge posts from others here on FB! 3. I had a friend call me today who was very down in spirit. Im a fixerand want people to be happy and see the good in everything, so when someone comes to me with problems, feeling down, etc. I want to immediately help them feel better by giving advice on how to fix things, cheer them up, etc. That usually means that when I dont know what to say to them I feel like Im not helping them at all. BUT, Im learning {thank you Lord} that its ok to not always have words or steps. Sometimes the fix for them is just to BE there with a listening ear, a soft shoulder and a loving heart! I was blessed to know that she felt safe with me and trusted me enough to openly and honestly share her feelings. Today, Im challenging Bonnie Brown, Zakiya S. Kyles, & Heather Bradley to join me and post 3 positive things from their day, each day for 5 days!
