Post-Doctoral Research Position at School of Computer Engineering, NTU We have ONE post-doctoral research position for self-motivated candidates, working in the area of data centre virtualization, in the school of computer engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Topics of interest include, but not limited to • Data Center Architecture • Network virtualization in data center • Virtual machine management in data center • Storage virtualization in data center Duties involve theoretical research and system prototype, in collaboration with top universities and research institutes, including MIT, Stanford University, USC, Bell-Laboratories, China Mobile Research and IBM Research. Two of our latest papers have made into the top 100 most popular papers in IEEExplore database in July 2014 (ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/browsePopular.jsp). Applicants for these positions should satisfy the following requirements • PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline • Research experience with strong publications in international conferences and prestigious journals is preferable • Competency in Linux programming and system/application development • Excellent communication and writing skills in English • Industrial experience is a plus (masters with industrial experience will be considered) The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package commensurate with his/her qualification and experience. The appointment can start any time and will be initially for one year, with possibility for extension up to two additional years.
