Postal HImal had an article about Bhutan EXPTL cancellations. These devices were used in different post offices when ever the particular post office did not had their own devices available. The reason could be that a new post office was opened and devices had not arrived; post office devices were destroyed weather in excess usage, fire etc - GPO provided an EXPTL device when it was requested. So most devices have been used in more than one post office. The numbers selected to Bhutan I do not know. These same device types are in use in India, where the idea di arrive to Bhutan at Ramamutri time. GPO has adviced the 1st and last date of usage in most cases - that was like ten years back. Today they do NOT have the files any more. One of the most interesting usage of EXPTL device is the one that was used for a short period of time in Bhutan House in Kalimpong.
