Posted on August 15, 2013 by Juanski Man, 27, dies after possible hit-and-run JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 27-year-old Jacksonville man who may have been the victim of a hit-and-run crash has died. Police said Brandon Gentry was found on the side of Picketville Road in Northwest Jacksonville about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said he was bleeding from his head, and evidence at the scene suggested that he could have been a victim of a hit-and-run. Gentry was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died Wednesday. Anyone with any information on what happened is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office traffic homicide unit at 904-630-2178 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
