Posted on the Hillcrest Patch--Marc A Solomon August 12, 2013 at 11:26 PM I think Donna would be a good edition to the City of Mayfield in the capacity of mayor.She has always strived to be the best at any political position she has held.From PTA President to Councel.She has worked her way up through the ranks,excelling in each elected and/or voluntary position she has held.She has helped many people in the city of Mayfield.Her motto as council woman has always been no job is to big or to small.Her cell phone is on 24/7 to whoever may need her help.Being mayor for Donna is not about the title its about being in a position to help the city and the citizens of the city.For those that don`t know Donna,she raised her family to grow up and be independent and successful.She gave her son a life that only a loving ,caring ,mother could give to a child.She can now dedicate herself full time to the city.The kids are grown,no more plays,sporting events,kids with cold to take care of.She doesent have another job that will take up her time.being mayor will be what she does.It is now time for Donna to give that same passion that she gave to her family to the City of Mayfield.She will put her mind and her heart into being the leader of Mayfield.I dont even like to use the word mayor because its just a job title.Like I said its not about the title for Donna its about the city.I`m proud of Donna for all her accomplishments and looking forward to watching her help the City of Mayfield grow.I`m one of Donnas biggest fans and I am looking forward to November when I can call her Mayor Donna Finney.
