Posting this again to see if anyone is interested in starting a book club in their community for children...and once again...heres why...Here are some real statistics...80% of NYC are graduating unable to read, 85% of Los Angeles kids are graduating and cant read, and just look at the clip concerning black kids in Detroit. Its a National epidemic and crisis. So, I challenge everyone in my friends and family list to start a book club for kids. You pick the age group you are most interested in, you purchase the books for the kids, and once a week you meet with the kids to discuss the book of the week. Whos in? It takes two hours per week of your time and you can purchase books for real cheap on Amazon. You dont have to have a bunch of kids to start a book club, a few will do..Reach one, teach one..Are you in? Let me know and I can help you set it up.
