Potential donor.for RachaelDay 10, 4:30 pm The Chief of Cardiac Surgery Dr. Varrier, and the head of heart transplantation just came to talk with us. There is a potential donor for heart and liver. The medical staff is doing the preliminary checks for viability, and Rachael is having all sorts of tests for blood gasses, antibodies etc. Rachael has been having some significant bleeding today, which I know is a concern. We wont know for several hours whether it will actually happen or not. We will keep you posted. Yes, this is a call to action (not like you havent been) because they are talking about taking her down to surgery just in case at 7 pm. Dr. Varrier said, This is a long shot, but it may be our only shot. I know you have a strong spiritual community, so get in touch with them. We need all the help we can get.
