Potential storm for Tuesday-Wednesday and then again - TopicsExpress

Potential storm for Tuesday-Wednesday and then again Thursday-Friday. Many models bring this storm well south of here but I am skeptical. In fact, I see a weather pattern that could easily scream Nor’Easter for the Northeast. The caveat is a high pressure system over the Northwest Atlantic that may block the storm and allow it to move closer to the coast. I have high confidence that Eastern MA and Cape Cod and Coastal Maine will see 1-2 FEET of snow from this. IF this storm does move closer to the coast, depending how much closer, heavy snow (well over 6 potentially) could occur Tuesday into Wednesday. While it’s too early to know how this will play out yet, I’ll have more on this tomorrow. Also, it looks like another clipper will drop through the area Thursday into Friday Morning and bring a chance of light snow. This storm could produce an inch or two. After this storm, a piece of the polar vortex moves in with frigid arctic temperatures making a return with below zero readings possible in about 7-10 days.
