Potsdam PD Public Record SUNDAY, JULY 14, 2013 ARTICLE OPTIONS AA PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police charge Victoria L. Middlemiss, 26, of Potsdam with petit larceny at 12:38 p.m. Saturday. Police said Middlemiss was observed by a witness shoplifting an item from a Maple Street business. The witness reported the incident to store employees and the incident was located on the store surveillance system. The subject was located by patrols with the stolen item, a 24-pack of ice tea/lemonade valued at $6.99. The Police Blotter Saturday, July 13, 2013 0000 Patrol received a complaint of reckless driving. Patrols spoke with both operators. Incident occurred outside the village limits. 0135 Received complaint of a subject refusing to leave a business on Market Street. Patrols responded, and subject left without incident. 0149 Officers on foot patrol received a harassment complaint. All parties were separated and spoken to. Patrols cleared without any further incident. 0606 Received request for assistance in transport of a small plane through the village to Ives Park. Patrols assisted and transport was completed without incident. 0927 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a chest pain, difficulty breathing call. 1125 Lost: Black Samsung phone. If located, please turn into Potsdam PD. 1132 Patrol assisted with a parking complaint on Main Street. 1352 Dog at large complaint Washington Street. 1414 Traffic stop completed on Clarkson Avenue. A verbal warning was issued. 1428Patrols assisted with an escort of the plane back to Damon Field without incident. 1515 Patrols assisted with crowd control at Ives Park while Lifenet helicopter took off. 1713 Walk in harassment complaint received. 1730 Patrols participated in and assisted with traffic control for the annual Firemen’s Parade. 1900 Patrols assisted with traffic control for the annual Firemen’s Run to the River. 1910 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call. 1922 Received a harassment complaint. Patrols responded. 1957 Received a burglar alarm activation at a business on Madrid Avenue. Patrols responded. False alarm. 2034 Received a report of a verbal dispute at a residence on Maple St. Patrols responded. Dispute had ended prior to patrols arriving.
