Praise God and thank His benevolent love for all his creatures 6 of the puppies are playing, eating, and fighting me tooth and toe nail. While I struggle with fluids and their injectable meds, trying to hold them and medicate them, through this fight for their lives, I have stuck myself with more needle pricks than they have gotten.LOL Three are still critical and I had to steel myself to enter the isolation room this morning for fear of what I would find from when I left at midnight last night. But they were all still here, 3 are all still so very sick, but I have a few more hours to try to turn this around for them. With tears in my eyes I thanked God for another chance to heal them, I know these 3 are at terrible risk and I realize they may not make it but I have another chance and I am thatnkful for that. After everyone was treated, given fluids, rooms cleaned, cuddled and spoken loving words of encouragement, I stepped out on the chlorox mat and removed my isolation room garb. Walked to the house on dead tired legs, and into the back part of the house where there is a shower. Stripped my clothes, put them in a bag to go directly into the laundry with hot water and bleach and stepped in for the first of 4 showers today. i have never been so clean or so wrinkly, well at 62 I am naturally wrinkly but this is even more so. As I stood in the shower I realized something did not feel right and that is when I notice in my extreme fatigued state I had taken everything off except my socks and on undershirt. Wow talk about goofy tired, but it was a good laugh for the morning, 7 am. Wet t-shirt contests were never anything that would apply to me even in my younger day,s so peeling it off in the shower was kind of like removing cling wrap from a nice fat, juicy, ham.. LOL. Dried off, found something clean and unexposed to wear and now the day starts . I need toothpicks to hold my eyes open and it is the weekend which means as usual I am short on help. But I have to get moving because in 6 hours I will once gain put on my blue green space alien suit, shoe covers, gloves, and Marge Simpson blue hair cover and treat the babies.. All of them, God willing. Your prayers are greatly appreciated and please keep petitioning the Heavenlies for healing angels for the babies.
