Praise Report! See the video below in HD! Everyone who knows my 6 year old knows that she is FULL of personality and loves to dance...but has not been likely to show anyone when more than 3 people are watching her. Today my baby girl had a MAJOR breakthrough. Not only did she gather the courage to perform with one of her role models who is older than her, Grace, (10yrs old) but she did it in front of all the campers and their parents! Then she messed up and fell, which would typically be the abrupt end to whatever was happening with running off to hide in tears...BUT SHE KEPT GOING with a HUGE SMILE and when the part came around again that she messed up previously, she didnt shy away from it...She went after it with sheer determination. I couldnt be more proud. We talked and prayed for a long time last night for courage and for her to really lean on Gods strength to help her over come her fears and anxiety. We also prayed that she would feel Gods peace and that his presence would manifest on her performance by her having so much fun while doing it. Gotta love when God shows up for your children and they are just as excited as seeing how His goodness is available for them as you are thankful that it happened. What a great last day of my final camp and now OFF TO VEGAS with my hubby in 3 hours! Today rocks!
