Praise the Lord our Sabbath day that He provided for all mankind has arrived! Now we have a wonderful 24 hours to commune with God, the Father and Jesus, the Son through God, the Holy Spirit as we lift our voices in praise, prayer, and our minds into study of His word. The Godhead who cooperated together in forming our world knew that we would need 1 day of rest, so after God had created our world in 6 literal days, (i.e. the evening and the morning was the 6th day; then Sabbath began at the setting of the sun in the western sky.) God set aside the 7th day in which no work was done by God as the day of rest Himself and for man, and the day of recognition by man that God was His Creator and loved us enough to say, Come aside and rest awhile with Me Genesis 2:1-3, Exodus 20:8-11 & Psalms 119 tells us what God thinks about His special, blessed, and holy day of rest, Isaiah 66:22,23 tells us forever..
