Pray for Mormons who consider themselves Christians, that they would know Jesus of the Bible. Lynn had opportunities to do so . . . Shalom yall, Yesterday at the gym I saw a man whom I had previously shared the Gospel with. I asked him what he thought about the Gospel of John tract that I had given him; he said that it was interesting and that it was beginning to make sense. After the gym, I walked over to Trader Joes to get some milk and some flowers for my friend who is recovering from surgery. I walked back to my car, and noticed two young people sitting in the front seat next to my car, with the windows down. A gentle whisper in my heart was telling me to start up a conversation with them. They were very friendly, and it turns out they are UCI students. I mentioned what I do on campus on Fridays and the conversation turned to faith. Neither of these young people had any understanding of the Gospel. As soon as they heard it their eyes lit up! To make a longer story short both of them asked Jesus into their hearts!! The young man was stunned, as he had just been talking to his friend about why his life was not working, even though he felt like he was making good choices. He knew that God was speaking through me and came to rescue him. Both hearts were open, and very excited about what happened. I gave them each a Bible and Gospel of John, and recommended some churches including contact names. How amazing our God is, orchestrating this and saving them!!! This morning, walking my dogs on the hill, two men walked by me. One of them asked me what my opinion was as a woman about a political argument they were having. The other man was extremely irritated at the one who had asked me my opinion on the subject. The conversation turned to other things and it turned out that the one man had moved to the USA from Britain, and was Eastern European. The other man was American, and identified himself as Christian. I asked him where he went to church and found out that he is Mormon. We got on the subject of Christianity and the Book of Mormon. I briefly talked about the Gospel and the history of the Scriptures, giving reasons why the Book of Mormon is not accepted. It was the usual response of agreeing with everything I said, so that there could be no discussion. I invited him to come to UCI and talk more about it; he said that he was interested in doing that. I could see the other man was being confused, so I quickly went on my way. After descending the hill, I noticed a cute two-year-old wearing a batman cape. It reminded me of my son, who loved to wear capes. I struck up a conversation with his young mother, and admired his baby brother. She is a mother of three also, and was interested in some of my stories. She considered herself Christian. I asked her what church she went to and she revealed that she was Mormon. It was indeed a good Mormon morning!! Please pray for this lady and her family for salvation. The other day, I went to Farmers Direct to buy some groceries. I met a young Persian man at checkout. We talked about the Gospel and what being a Christian meant. He was very open and said he knew that being Muslim was not a good thing. He smiled and thanked me for the tract and said Christianity made sense!! Please pray for this dear young mans salvation! All the glory to our amazing God for His glorious Gospel, orchestrating and working in these young peoples’ lives. Blessings, Lynn .
