Pray for the soul of Israel! Pray for the rise of righteous leaders! Israel has been called to spread light and not darkness into the world. In this article published by the Israeli National News the deputy speaker of Knesset MK Moshe Feiglin calls for Final Solution for Gaza - cleansing it of Palestinians and repopulating it with Jews. He writes alongside many other things: All the military and infrastructural targets will be attacked with no consideration for ‘human shields’ or ‘environmental damage’. What this would mean is genocide. What is most shocking about this article are the responses from many Israeli Jews that essentially agree with him that genocide would be the right solution. It seems to me that many Israelis have lost their soul and any sense of responsibility that comes from being Gods Chosen Nation. Isaiah 49:6 says, Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’” I am praying that the next Israeli government would be full of peacemakers. Also, I am praying for a change in Palestinian leadership. And I pray for peace in Jerusalem, Israel and Palestine. I am praying for the increase of light. Jim Wallis once said that peace will come when we will learn to love other peoples children as they were our own. I find it to be one of the truest statements Ive ever heard.
